Originating in Service-Center Leipzig (SCL), FAIRNET was founded in 1996 with the mission of becoming one of Germany’s leading integrated providers of trade fair services.
Closely linked then and now with Leipziger Messe, it is a major component of our daily work to continue to develop ourselves and our range of services in the business fields of trade fairs, events and congresses in a pioneering and competitive way. New trends and innovative ideas are applied just as much as tried-and-tested solutions and experience acquired in more than 20 years of successfully implemented trade fair, event and congress communications.

| 2006 | Expansion of the event business field with the successful implementation of the FIFA FAN Fest 2006™ in Leipzig |
| 2009 | Runner-up in the trade fair and events service category of the ‘Conga Award’ |
| 2010 | Comprehensive brand relaunch with a new advertising slogan which is at the same time our corporate philosophy: “FROM START TO SUCCESS.” |
| 2010 | Bronze ‘Event Award’ (EVA) in the Charity /Social /Cultural Event category for the implementation of the 2009 Festival of Light in Leipzig |
| 2013 | Overall coordination of ‘WorldSkills 2013’ (careers world championships) in Leipzig, including the creation of 46 skills areas, 12 national presentations, stage construction, provision of facilities for the opening and closing ceremonies, setting up and equipping a city under canvas on the grounds |
