Business areas

Under the slogan of “Global involvement for global success”, LMI – Leipziger Messe International looks after both official German group participations abroad, and projects that it has devised itself and organises with local partners.

As a “ Durchführungsgesellschaft” (executive company), LMI is responsible for a series of trade fair participations sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, and by various federal states.

A second pillar of our business is devising and staging our own trade fairs abroad. Here, our work focuses mainly on the regions of Eastern Europe, Russia, China and Southeast Asia. Leipziger Messe’s industry-specific experience forms the basis for new events which we develop and implement in conjunction with local partners and our international subsidiaries.

Furthermore, in conjunction with expotec GmbH Berlin, we organise a number of events in Germany.
