Moscow’s municipal government delights visitors in Leipzig every two years with an elaborately designed stand that follows a specific theme.

Since the WDNCh has played an important role both for Moscow and Russia as a whole on account of its turbulent history, the setup of Moscow’s shared stand at this year’s denkmal in Leipzig has taken the historic exhibition as its model. The replica focused on the three main elements: Main Pavilion, Green Theatre and a kiosk – all with many details and faithful to the original objects in Moscow. In the expert forum at the trade fair stand, the municipal government also focused on this topic, with its workshop “Modern life in historic ensembles. WDNCh: yesterday, today and tomorrow.”
