The Manga-Comic-Con is an independent event in combination with the Leipzig book fair. The spectrum ranges from manga, comic, anime, fashion, cosplay and drawing accessories to video games. Taking place in March, the Manga-Comic-Con is the first event of the year with a manga and comic theme.
The direct connection to the Leipzig Book Fair offers a very unique audience composition: the core fans as well as parts of the Book Fair audience interested in these topics. A comprehensive overview of the diverse offer areas of the Manga-Comic-Con can be found here.
In the MCC Kreativ Area, artists, illustrators and hobbyist display their selfmade artworks. Amongst other things, one can find dōjinshi, comics, posters, stickers, buttons, kakao tradingcards, merchandise (key chains, cups, jewelry, bags, shirts, origami and many more). Many artists draw live at their stand.

Warning on unauthorised catalogue entry offers
Leipziger Messe GmbH wishes to draw attention to the fact that exhibitors are repeatedly approached by unauthorised companies asking them to update their details for a catalogue entry. These catalogue entries are not free of charge, however, as the offer appears to suggest, but can in fact cost several thousand euros.
