DreamHack Open 2018 kicks off at DreamHack Leipzig featuring Rocket League!

    DreamHack Open Rocket League

A new year of DreamHack Open is soon upon us, with DreamHack Leipzig on January 26-28th approaching with hasty steps, we are delighted to announce that the first stop of the 2018 season will feature Psyonix’s popular vehicular soccer game Rocket League with a $50,000 prize pool.

DreamHack Open is returning to Leipzig, Germany for the third year running, when the Leipzig Trade Fair opens its doors on January 26-28th next year. For the first event of the year, we will be bringing Rocket League to the DreamHack Open stage, with teams competing onstage for a full three days throughout the event. Rocket League fans can expect the best experience yet as DreamHack continues to expand our initiatives within the title.

“The Rocket League esports community has continued to grow, and after we hosted two championships at DreamHack Summer and Atlanta, we are very excited to continue to support Rocket League,” Said Michael Van Driel, Chief Product Officer at DreamHack. “We want to thank the Rocket League community for their warm reception of us, and hope everyone tunes in January 26 – 28th to catch all the best games.”

Details surrounding the upcoming 2018 DreamHack event calendar and DreamHack Open 2018 circuit will come in the near future, but we are anticipate to return with a similar roadmap as we featured in 2017.
