ROG League of Legends Cup

With the ROG League of Legends Cup, Riot Games and Republic of Gamers (ROG) are offering community teams the ultimate e-sports experience. 2,500 euros in prize money awaits the winners of the final on the ROG stage at DreamHack Leipzig.

• Any player can register for the three online cups. The eight best respective teams will compete against each other in the final round. Things will get under way on 10 December.
• During the final round on 7 January 2018, the 24 strongest teams from the three cups will compete against one another. Riot Games and ROG will invite the players occupying first to fourth place to DreamHack Leipzig.
• At DreamHack Leipzig, the quarter-final, semi-final and final will be held on the ROG stage and live-streamed. IN addition, teams from the DreamHack LAN area have the chance to participate via a wild-card tournament.

E-sports and the gaming community are an important part of the ROG DNA. With the new ROG League of Legends Cup, ASUS is therefore providing ambitious amateur teams with an ultimate e-sports experience of the kind usually reserved for professional teams.

This includes the sophisticatedly produced live stream that will be broadcast on the Twitch channels of Riot Games (https://www.twitch.tv/riotgamesde) and ROG Germany (https://www.twitch.tv/asusrog_de). The best teams will also be invited to DreamHack Leipzig 2018. With more than 1,500 LAN participants and a huge expo area, DreamHack Leipzig is Germany’s biggest LAN event.

In the ROG League of Legends Cup, prizes with a total value of more than 12,000 euros await the community teams. The team emerging as the winners in the grand finale will receive 2,500 euros in prize money. Yet all the other teams that make it to the quarter-final and semi-final at DreamHack Leipzig can also look forward to high-quality hardware prizes from ROG.

On the big ROG stage, the best teams from the ROG League of Legends Cup will play exciting matches against one another in front of e-sports-mad audiences. All games will feature professional commentators to create the right atmosphere.
