Leipzig: Best Place for Robots and Friends
(07/03/2016) It was a festival for the mind and the heart: The 20th RoboCup combined scientific peak performances with the outstanding enthusiasm of participants from all over the world. The world championships of intelligent robots inspired 35,000 participants and visitors on the Leipzig exhibition grounds. The competitions were accompanied by an exciting exhibition, a scientific technical program and numerous participation offerings.

Amazon Picking Challenge: Here are the winners
(07/02/2016) At the Amazon Picking Challenge over the last two days, 16 teams from around the world were tasked with picking up and safely depositing 20 items from a shelf in the shortest possible time period. The winners were announced today during the award ceremony.

(07/01/2016) The promotion of young talent is a priority - and not just for RoboCup Junior. The concurrent Recruiting exhibition, which provides visitors with a chance to meet their future employers in the robotics industry, starts today at the Congress Center Leipzig.

RoboCup kick-off: All events at a glance
(06/30/2016) The time has finally come: RoboCup is in Leipzig! Starting today, the best of the best show what robotics can already do today. 3,500 participants and their 1,200 robots have until Sunday to compete for the world championship title. Here is a short summary of which teams are playing when, and which events will take place in connection with the competitions.

Focus on the future: Robots are taking over Leipzig
(06/29/2016) Just now teams are preparing for the competitions and are letting their robots warm up in training runs. Starting tomorrow total of 3,500 participants from 45 countries and regions will compete at RoboCup in 17 disciplines. We have summed up for you the disciplines one last time.
