Rescue Simulation League
The RoboCup Rescue Simulation League is an educational initiative to investigate catastrophe scenarios. The project was founded as a reaction to the earthquake in Kōbe, Japan, in 1995. Its primary goal is the development of help in disaster areas by computer-simulated rescue strategies. The focus is on researching intelligent planning programs for a coordinated searching and rescuing of victims and forming a connection between assistants and rescue means. This league is subdivided into Virtual Robots and Agent Simulation.
