Dear Colleagues,
The world championships have come to Leipzig. RoboCup, the leading competition for intelligent robots and one of the world's most important technology events for research and education, will take place in Leipzig from 30 June to 4 July. Approximately 3,500 participants from 45 countries are coming to Leipzig, and their robots will compete against each other in 16 leagues. Whether at soccer, at home, at the factory of the future or during rescue missions: This competition demonstrates, in an impressive fashion, just how advanced robotics technologies already are today. Numerous technical events, educational programs, workshops and outdoor activities will be held concurrently with the competitions, making RoboCup a very special event for scientists, students and families alike.
